Tiny Strings Radio — privacy and data deletion

This page is the privacy policy and the data deletion instructions for Tiny Strings Radio (com.driveczechgroup.tinystringsradio). There is no account. You can still ask us to delete what we hold.

How to delete your data

On the device: uninstall Tiny Strings Radio. That removes the locally stored station, optional likes, and other app preferences. There is no in-app account to close.
On our servers: email [email protected] with the subject Tiny Strings Radio data deletion. Include the approximate date you used the app and, if you remember it, the station. We will delete any matching Like/Dislike votes and stream-access logs we can identify, within 30 days, and confirm by email.

The app does not let you create an account, so there is no login to delete. Uninstall plus the email above is the full deletion path.

2. What the app processes

No account, ads, analytics, or tracking SDK.
Live stream: playing a station opens an HTTPS connection to our streaming server. The server sees your IP address, time, and ordinary request headers for as long as you listen. We use this only to deliver the stream and to count concurrent listeners in aggregate. We do not sell it, profile you, or use it for advertising.
Now playing: the app fetches the current track title from our server.
Station choice is stored only on your device.
Optional Like / Dislike: if you rate a track, the vote is stored on the device and also sent to our server as an anonymous record: time, station, track id, like or dislike. We do not attach an account, advertising ID, or device ID. Your IP is used only in memory for a short anti-abuse window (at most one vote on the same track per 60 seconds) and is not stored with the vote.

3. Retention

Stream-access logs are operational and short-lived. Anonymous votes stay as programme statistics until you ask us to delete them or we no longer need them for the station. Uninstalling the app does not by itself remove votes already sent; use the email request above.

4. Legal basis and rights (GDPR)

Streaming and optional votes are processed as our legitimate interest in running a radio (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and on request we honour access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and the right to complain to the Czech Data Protection Authority (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.gov.cz).

5. Third parties

We do not sell your data. Distribution through the Apple App Store and Google Play is subject to those platforms’ policies. Links you tap (web player, YouTube) are handled by those sites after you leave the app.

6. Children

The app is not directed at children and knowingly collects no data from them.
